MCAS Parent Portal

The Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE) has launched a new MCAS Family Portal, providing families with online access to their child’s MCAS results.

For the first time, families will be able to view preliminary results from the Spring 2026 MCAS assessments before the start of the new school year. Preliminary results are currently available for English Language Arts and Mathematics, as well as Science and Civics for students who participated in those assessments. Final results, including student growth information and comparisons to school, district, and statewide results, are expected to be available in late September. The portal will also provide access to results from previous years.

With the launch of the new Family Portal, MCAS student score reports will no longer be mailed home to families. Families will access their child’s MCAS results electronically through the portal.

Families will receive a unique registration code from Berkley Public Schools that can be used, along with their child’s date of birth, to create an account in the MCAS Family Portal. Once registered, families can add students to their account, view MCAS results, and access additional information and resources.

If you experience difficulty registering for or accessing the portal, please contact the main office at your child’s school, and a staff member will be happy to assist you. Because the MCAS Family Portal contains highly confidential student information, registration codes cannot simply be provided over the phone. Families requesting assistance with a registration code will be required to verify their identity before the district can provide access information. We appreciate your understanding as we work to protect the privacy and security of student information.

MCAS results are one source of information about a student’s academic progress and should be considered alongside classroom performance, local assessments, and other information about a student’s learning. Families are encouraged to review their child’s results and contact their child’s school with questions about individual student performance.

Resources for Families

We are pleased that this new resource will provide families with earlier and easier access to important information about their child’s learning and progress.
