Our year is winding down and we are all looking forward to summer vacation. Always remember to use sunscreen while you enjoy all the outdoor activities that the summer months bring.  The CDC recommends using a sunscreen with SPF 15 or higher. Wearing a wide brim hat, sunglasses and covering exposed skin is important too.

 

Please be sure to check your children for ticks after they have been playing outside. The best way to prevent ticks and tick-borne illnesses is avoid to exposure.

 

A couple of housekeeping details...

If you have medicines here that are administered to your children, please pick them up by the last day of school. If your child is in fourth grade they need to have an updated physical on file before moving on the fifth grade.
